Terms of Service
Last updated: August 30, 2026
By using PromptShield you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
PromptShield runs a neural guardrail over every prompt you submit, blocking jailbreaks, secret leaks, prompt extraction, SQL injection, and runaway agent loops. Verified prompts are dispatched to a downstream model. Output of both the guardrail and the downstream model is produced by AI and may be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for any actions you take on that output.
Your account and content
- Logging in is optional and uses a magic email link; keep access to your inbox secure.
- You retain ownership of the prompts you submit.
- You may not use the service to probe, disrupt, or overload the firewall or the downstream providers.
No affiliation
PromptShield is an independent project built around the Stripe Projects CLI and OpenRouter. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Stripe, Supabase, OpenRouter, Google Gemini, Vercel, or any other provider it integrates with.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service or from acting on guardrail output.
Changes and termination
We may change or discontinue the service, or update these terms, at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
